The International Book Festival (Antharashtra Pusthakotsavam) Kochi, is entering its
15th year of glorious service. The 15th festival will be celebrated from 2nd December to 11th December 2011 at the well-known Ernakulathappan Grounds, Kochi.
The past Fourteenth festivals were very successful, thanks to the unstinting support from the Publishers, Distributors, Book sellers and Book lovers.The active participation of Eminent personalities, Thinkers, Writers, Artists, Educationalists, Scientists, Social Scientists and so on, inspired the organizers, the exhibitors and the book lovers alike. The enlightening discourses of these personalities and their interactions with the book lovers, students and other reading public enhanced the charm of every book festival. Publishers consider the festival an ideal arena to introduce their wide range of books to the book lovers. Over the years, lakhs of book lovers have been benefited by these festivals. And from the point of view of readers and librarians, these festivals help them in keeping abreast with the latest in the literary world, and provide them ample selection for their major purchases for the year.
The number of stalls increases every year. And this year, about 250 to 300 exhibitors are expected to participate.
